When I look at this box I think of some totally lame ass guy that was drawn by someone that had no concept of perspective or shading. Seriously was that the founder of Capcom's deranged son that did it? The guy on the box has no feeling of power. Also I had no idea mega man wore a yellow vest.

There is just something seriously wrong with this. Its as if the artist only had 3-4 different color crayons to work with.

Good thing they Capcom kept at it and didn't stop releasing the series here in the US after the first one. My childhood would have been different as a result.

This is one of the ugliest boxes I have seen. The best part about it is that my company Paragon Five (http://www.paragon5.com) developed this game. I am so damn proud. I think we need to petition for more people to declare this one of the ugliest game boxes of all time.

My biggest question about this is WTF is that purple blob car doing in the background. I don't think we ever designed that into the game. How the hell did it appear on our box?

So this is an absolute classic in my mind. I have always been a HUGE fan of the pixel box series from Nintendo. So as my first post I had to contribute this one.

What really gets me on this box are a few things.

1. The old scientist/professor guy looks really awesome in his minimalistic style.

2. This is a robot series game. That gives it bonus points immediately.

3. The name of the game is just so damn cool.

So what are all of your thoughts? How many of you have actually played the game?
